Tanzania is the potential reserve of the world quality graphite.

The world in technology is changing every day, soon fuel car will be out for electrical car and brittle opaque electronic device will be flexible and transparent device. All these change demands graphite as main driving raw material and global graphite industry has witnessed stably growing demand and tight supply in recent years.

Graphite deposited in different part of the world but currently Chinese dominate the market supply by 70-80% and it will continue to be monster of graphite market although all the graphite consumer industry are outside of china until the new world classic graphite projects that are not owned by Chinese  are expected to start mining in 2018-2020 come into market.

In Tanzania Graphite deposited in Mozambique mobile belt, the metamorphosed belt that passes through Arusha, Tanga, Morogoro, Lindi and Mtwara regions where Graphite deposited are discovered by different International Exploration Companies.
Over the last few years numerous occurrences of graphite have been identified within the Mozambique mobile belt. These include several world-class flake graphite deposits in Tanzania; the largest of the deposits are located in south eastern Tanzania in Lindi region.

 Lindi Region
Nachu Project in Ruangwa district, 174 million tonnes @ 5.4% total graphitic carbon. The project is owned by Magnis Resources of Australia.
Chilalo Graphite Project in Ruangwa district, 18.1Million tonnes @ 6.2% total graphitic carbon.  The project is owned by IMX Resources of Australia.
Bunyu Graphite Project in Ruangwa district, 461million tonnes @4.9% total graphitic Content. The Project is owned by Volt Resources-Austarlian Company.
Namukonjela graphite project in Ruangwa district, 15million tonnes @5.0% total graphitic carbon
The project owned by Nazareth mining company of India
Arusha Region
Merelani-Arusha Graphite Project, 17.2Mt @ 6.5% TGC
This project is whole owned by Kibaran Resources.
Morogoro Region
Epanko Project in Mahenge district, 30.7 million tonnes @ 9.9% total graphitic carbon. This project owned by Kibaran Resources of Australia
The above are some of the world classics graphite project. But their many good and promising graphite project in Tanzania under way.
Tanzanian must prepare for new jobs, mining services and supplier that will be created by graphite projects  soon after start of mining.
