Only clay is used to produce white-ware or porcelain. In addition to clays, feldspars and quartz are also used. For certain porcelains of certain quality bauxite is added. In Africa there is stem market of tiles in which turned the chine’s company to abandon shipping tiles but decided to construct their industry to African country. As the shift their industry new job were created and old one destroyed in the poor continent.
The distributions of this tiles industry in Africa are controlled by availability of raw material for production. Tanzania is a best place that lucky with unlimited resources of ceramics minerals for production of tiles in which lead to be the home of tiles industries and this will stimulate the economy of the country by increasing the currency circulation.
But this will never be free if Tanzanian citizen will fail to involve in ceramics mineral exploration and mining for supplying to the industry as required. Currently two tiles industry operating in the country that are Twyford Ceramics Tanzania Company limited in Chalize and Good will Ceramics Tiles Tanzania Company limited in Mkuranga both of them in Pwani region.
From this opportunity miner are required to watch this market for exploring especially ceramics mineral like feldspar, quartz sand, dolomite, marble and clay in which is the key raw material for the growing of tiles industry.
In other side of the regulator and policy maker, the Government must set rule to restrict Chinese to involve of mining but they must buy from miner this will provide vast opportunity to Tanzanian mineral entrepreneurs to grow with the industry as in cement industry Tanzanian are key part of the production by supplying Gypsum and iron ore material
